Since it was created for the International Garden Exhibition (IGA) in 1983, the Westpark is freely accessible. There are playgrounds and sports grounds, barbecue facilities, two beer gardens, a restaurant and walking and cycling paths and diverse events such as the open-air theater in the summer.
